  • Can you cut polished concrete?

Yes. With the right diamond grit, you can cut through polished concrete without damaging the surrounding area.

  • What is silica?

Silica is the dust produced when cutting concrete. It is not safe to inhale in large quantities, (as most construction dust isn’t), so we have specialised tools to help minimise dust, as well as using water during most cuts to reduce the amount of dust that becomes airborne.

  • Will you travel for jobs?

Yes. We travel throughout the Cairns, Tablelands and Cassowary Coast areas but will travel farther to complete some jobs.

  • Can you cut through reinforced concrete?

Yes. With the right tools, it is possible to cut through reinforced concrete. It is a more difficult job, though, and will thereby take longer to complete and may incur a higher quote than simpler jobs.

  • Can you cut holes in higher areas, like ceilings? Can you cut at an angle?

Yes. We are able to cut into ceilings and angled locations using specialised rigs and equipment. We will come out and assess your job when providing the quote, so we can better determine which jobs we are able to handle when we view them up close.
